Ben has been writing and performing stand-up comedy for a decade, cultivating a “clever, acerbic wit” (The Skinny) with “sharp writing… beautifully timed” (The Scotsman) and "stage presence that ricochets off the back wall" (Broadway Baby).  Ben is “truly original, always entertaining and endlessly creative" (Metro) and is "very much worth your while (British Comedy Guide).

He has shared the stage with names like Dylan Moran, Frankie Boyle, Jo Caulfield, Kevin Bridges, Tom Stade and Romesh Ranganathan, and regularly gigs as an act or compere all over the UK and Ireland.

Ben has performed five solo stand-up shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and in 2013 was a finalist in Scottish Comedian of the Year.

TV work includes The Comedy Unit and BBC Scotland’s Scot Squad and The Karen Dunbar Show, and being a regular guest on STV’s The Late Show.

Ben is co-founder of Edinburgh’s Monkey Barrel Comedy Club, which won Best Comedy Club at the Scottish Comedy Awards in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
